The Sassi Sedicidiciotto apartments are located in the historic centre of Matera, at the entrance to the Sasso Caveoso, a short walk from Piazza Pascoli and Via Ridola. All four apartments — La Sedici, La Diciotto, Pozzo Fiorito and Sasso Bianco — face the same alley, less than 5 minutes' walk from the city's main UNESCO sites. The location is ideal for exploring the Sassi di Matera on foot, without needing a car.

The four apartments are independent, but they are all on the same alley in the centre of Matera. This means you can stay with friends or family in separate apartments while remaining close to each other. Each apartment is fully furnished and equipped with every comfort.

The historic centre of Matera is partly subject to a ZTL (Limited Traffic Zone). At check-in we will provide you with full instructions on how to reach the property by car correctly, including the time slots during which transit is allowed. The property is accessible by vehicle for unloading luggage.

Both free street parking and paid supervised car parks are available in the immediate vicinity of the property, just a few minutes' walk from the apartments. We recommend contacting us before your arrival for the most up-to-date directions depending on the season.

Check-in is done in person: we make a point of welcoming each guest individually to hand over the keys, show the apartments and share personalised tips about Matera. Standard check-in hours are from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM. If you arrive outside these hours, contact us in advance — we always find a solution. Self check-in is available on request.
