A hospitality project facing a single alley
How did Sassi Sedicidiciotto begin?
It all started with just two small homes facing the same alley in the historic centre of Matera — two spaces to restore and transform into welcoming places for travellers curious to discover the Sassi.
Over time, and with a growing love for these places, the opportunity arose to open more homes in the same alley, and little by little the project grew, always keeping the same founding idea: to create authentic hospitality. Today Sassi Sedicidiciotto brings together four homes on the same alley, each with its own personality.

I travel a lot and have seen and stayed in many places, but I can say that staying at Anna’s place is truly something special. The location of the apartment is perfect for exploring Matera, as it is right next to the Sassi. The entire apartment is beautifully renovated and tastefully decorated.

Anna y su Esposo son excelentes anfitriones muy predispuestos para solucionar cualquier inconveniente - en cuanto al departamento impecable - y unas infinidades de ameniteis que las 2 noches no tuve necesidad de salir a desayunar y Matera una ciudad fantástica deslumbrante.
